Privacy Policy

humanbehind.cv (“we”, “us”) is a pre-launch product operated by Bartłomiej Strama. Right now the site is a waitlist. This policy explains what we collect when you join, why, and the third parties involved. We've tried to keep it plain — fitting for a product whose whole point is treating people like humans.

Information we collect

• Your email address — required to join the waitlist.
• Optional profile details you choose to share: which applicant tracking system (ATS) you use, rough application volume, how you handle AI / mass applications today, your company name, and whether you'd like a call with the founder.
• Technical details: the section of the page you signed up from, your browser's user-agent string, and timestamps. Your IP address is processed transiently for bot protection (see below) but not stored with your signup.

Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile

To stop automated bots from spamming the waitlist, the signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile may collect information about your interaction with the page and your device to confirm you're human. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy.

Cookies & analytics

We use three analytics tools. They are not treated the same way:

• PostHog (cookie-free) — product analytics to understand how many people reach the page and complete signup. We run it in a cookieless mode: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It runs whether or not you accept cookies. Data is processed by PostHog, Inc. (United States).
• Microsoft Clarity (cookies) — heatmaps and session insights that help us see where the page confuses people. It sets cookies and only loads after you accept via the cookie banner. Processed by Microsoft.
• Google Analytics (cookies) — aggregate traffic statistics. It sets cookies and only loads after you accept via the cookie banner. Processed by Google.

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow cookies. If you click Reject (or do nothing), Clarity and Google Analytics never load and no analytics cookies are set — only the cookie-free PostHog runs. You can change your mind at any time:

Hosting & storage

The site and its API run on Cloudflare. Your waitlist details are stored in Cloudflare D1 (a hosted database) on Cloudflare's infrastructure.

How we use your data

• To email you when early access opens.
• To understand demand and shape what we build first.
• If you opt in, to arrange a short call with the founder.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers above (Cloudflare, PostHog, Microsoft, Google) so they can perform their function, and where required by law.

Retention

We keep your waitlist details until we launch and onboard you, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time. Email privacy@humanbehind.cv. If you're in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above.
